At TX Therapy, our team of experienced speech-language pathologists has over 25 years of expertise in providing speech therapy services, helping individuals enhance their communication skills across various settings, including schools and private practices. We support clients in overcoming speech sound disorders and achieving their goals of effective communication.

Our team of speech-language pathologists specializes in enhancing communication skills across various areas, including speech sound disorders, language delays, stuttering, and pragmatics. We are well-equipped to address a wide range of communication challenges including those who use Rapid Prompting Method (RPM) and Spellers Method to communicate.

We take a collaborative approach to speech therapy, working closely with our clients and their families to develop personalized treatment plans that enhance their communication skills. Our team of experienced speech-language pathologists believes that effective communication is a team effort. We empower our clients, including those dealing with speech sound disorders and using RPM, to take an active role in their own care, just like our Spellers.

In 2026, I completed trainings in The Spellers Method and RPM, and I am genuinely excited to offer sessions for individuals to enhance their communication skills. Additionally, I provide coaching and support for parents and communication partners, enabling them to carry this important work into everyday life. As a part of a solution that empowers individuals with speech sound disorders, I am thrilled to be helping them find their voice—using something as simple, and as powerful, as 26 letters, alongside the expertise of speech-language pathologists.
The Spellers Method is a holistic, evidence-based approach designed to enhance communication skills for non-speaking individuals—often those with autism—by fostering reliable, autonomous communication through spelling or typing. Instead of concentrating on speech production, this method prioritizes motor planning, regulation, and independence, all supported by individualized coaching and interdisciplinary collaboration with speech-language pathologists. The Rapid Prompting Method (RPM), developed by Soma Mukhopadhyay, complements this approach by using prompts to assist non-speaking or minimally speaking individuals in pointing to letters, words, or symbols for communication. RPM focuses on building attention, motor skills, and academic engagement, creating a pathway for expressive communication and helping clients develop self-directed communication, which can be crucial for those facing speech sound disorders.
Before we began using Speller’s Method for communication skills coaching, we lived in a world of guessing. We loved our child deeply, but so much of their inner world felt just out of reach. We relied on behaviors, routines, and assumptions—never truly knowing what they were thinking, what they understood, or what they wanted to say.
Everything changed when we started this journey with RPM.
I will never forget the first time my child spelled independently and we were able to “hear” their thoughts. There was so much inside them—humor, intelligence, opinions, feelings—just waiting for a way out. In that moment, I realized my child had been in there all along, fully aware, fully present. We just hadn’t had the right bridge to connect with them, which is where the guidance of speech-language pathologists came in.
Speller’s Method didn’t just give my child a voice—it gave us a relationship we never knew was possible. We now have conversations. My child shares their preferences, their ideas, even their frustrations. There is a depth of connection and mutual understanding that has completely transformed our family, especially in overcoming speech sound disorders.
This process has required patience, trust, and consistency, but the reward is beyond anything I could have imagined. Watching my child gain confidence and agency has been life-changing—not just for them, but for all of us.
For the first time, I truly know my child, a Speller in their own right. And that is a gift I will never be able to fully put into words. Riley's mom
